Fibre reaches 2 mln homes passed in Netherlands

Dutch broadband customers on cable networks are increasingly enjoying faster speeds. Almost all (98%) cable internet subscribers had at least 10 Mbps at the end of June 2014, up from three-quarters a year earlier. The number with at least 100 Mbps has tripled in the past year to 679,000 subscribers. The figures come from regulator ACM's latest market monitor, which also shows increasing speeds on the copper network.
