Film1 says no plans for OTT platform

Film1 sees HBO's withdrawal from the Dutch market as an opportunity, as it will be the only provider of films in the first pay-TV window from next year, Kate Marsh, executive vice president for West Europe at Film1's owner Sony Pictures Television Networks, told Broadband TV News. Sony Pictures Television acquired Film1 in March 2015 and offers the premium channel over 21 networks in the Netherlands, including its own Playstation Network.
