Finland leads the world in mobile phone density in 2013

The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority, Ficora, said that Finland is still one of the top countries in the world with regard to the use of telecommunications services, according to data from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the European Commission (EU). In 2013, the number of mobile phone subscriptions per 100 inhabitants varied in the surveyed countries between 96 and 172 subscriptions. In terms of mobile phone density, Finland and Estonia are clearly at the top at 172 and 160 respectively.
