Finnish communications ministry opposes online surveillance

The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications said it has submitted a dissenting opinion to a report by the data acquisition working group of Finland's Ministry of Defence. It said it cannot fully share the views expressed in the report, nor can it agree with all of the proposed measures put forward in it, some of which would violate the public's fundamental rights and could weaken opportunities for companies to do business.
