Finnish conference discusses satellite navigation difficulties in Arctic

The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced a workshop in Muonio from 16 to 18 April called 'Challenges in Arctic Navigation'. It said authorities, researchers and business representatives from European and Arctic countries will discuss the problems of getting satellite navigation to function better at high latitudes, especially in Acrtic areas. The workshop is being held by the ministry and the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI), which operates under the National Land Survey of Finland.
