Finnish data ombudsman probes reported breach by Nokia 7 Plus phones

The Finnish data protection arbitrator said he will investigate whether Nokia-branded phones had breached data rules, Reuters reported. The news agency said Norwegian broadcaster NRK had reported that the handsets sent information to China. Nokia-branded mobile phones are developed under licence by Finnish company HMD Global, which said no personal data had been shared with a third party, and that a data software error found in a single batch of phones which had been remedied
