Finns send 15% fewer texts in 2014

Finnish communications regulator Ficora said that in 2014, the number of text messages sent fell by 15 percent from the previous year. The number of mobile phone calls made decreased but the average length of calls grew. Compared with 2013, the volume of data transferred surged by 82 percent. The average per Finn per day was 163 MB in 2014.
