Finns spend longer on the phone in H1

The coronavirus restrictions that took effect this spring caused Finns to turn to traditional ways of staying in touch with each other, according to regulator Traficom. There was a trend towards longer voice calls in the first half of 2020 on both fixed and mobile networks, as more and more people started working and studying from home. Voice minutes on mobile networks exceeded 8 billion minutes, and the average duration of a call was five minutes.
