Firefox blocks third-party cookies by default following privacy upgrade

Wednesday 5 June 2019 | 10:00 CET | News

The feature was rolled out some time ago with a view to blocking known "third-party tracking cookies" but will now be automatically available to everyone who installs and downloads Firefox for the first time. "When you see the shield icon, you should feel safe that Firefox is blocking thousands of companies from your online activity," said the company in a blog post.
