Fiscal reform vital to Argentina's mobile adoption - GSMA

Reducing excessive mobile sector-specific taxation in Argentina would promote connectivity and provide a cumulative fiscal gain of up to USD 5.3 billion over five years, according to a new report from the GSMA. The industry body said high levels of mobile-specific taxation are constraining the potential for further growth, particularly amongst low-income groups who would benefit most from access to the mobile internet.
