Five-inch displays grow to almost half new Dutch smartphones

The number of smartphones launched in the Netherlands with screens of 5 inches or bigger is increasing. According to research by GSMHelpdesk, 40 percent of phones introduced in 2014 had displays of 5 inches or greater, up from just over 17 percent in 2013. Popular models included the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Note 4, Sony Xperia Z3, LG G3, HTC One M8 and Huawei Ascend P7.
