Fixed broadband tops Spanish consumer complaints in Q2

Around 15.5 percent of Spanish users filed a complaint about their fixed broadband service in the second quarter of 2020, up from 15.3 percent a year earlier, according to the latest data from communications regulator CNMC. Fixed broadband easily topped the ranking of household services, ahead of fixed telephony with 11.4 percent in Q2, down from 12.2 percent a year earlier, and mobile telephony with 8.8 percent, down from 9.0 percent. By contrast, just 5.2 percent of gas users and 4.5 percent of electricity filed complaints in the April to June period.
