Flemish government awards bigger budget for ICT in schools

The Flemish regional government has decided on awarding the budget for digitising schools. Education minister Ben Weyts said each secondary school will receive EUR 510 per pupil, spread over two years, in order to provide laptops to all the students. This is part of the earlier announced 'Digisprong' plan to increase spending on digital infrastructure in schools to EUR 375 million.
