Flemish smartphone penetration grows to 74%

Three-quarters (74%) of the Flemish had a smartphone last year, an increase of 6 percent points from 2015, according to the annual Digimeter survey on media usage. Wearables have also shown strong growth, going from zero to 13 percent of consumers in two years, while other types of hardware are showing flat or falling penetration. Notably 6 percent of the Flemish said they did not have any connected devices in their homes.
