Fnac Darty posts Q1 revenue drop, cancels 2019 div, agrees EUR 500 mln loan

Retail group Fnac Darty generated first-quarter revenues of EUR 1.49 billion, down 10.3 percent year-on-year on a like-for-like basis (-7.9% on a reported basis). During the January-February period, the underlying revenue performance was stable compared to the previous year, while March was heavily impacted by store closures due to the Covid-19 lockdown, with sales down around 30 percent at group level.
