FNB launches mobile banking units in containers

South Africa's FNB has introduced mobile banking units in the form of shipping containers furnished as fully functional bank branches, with infrastructure such as an ATM to withdraw money and an ADT to deposit money. Lee-Ann van Zyl, CEO of FNB Points of Presence, said FNB had used mobile banking units in the past, but these needed to be updated with features to suit the needs of customers, reports Fin24.
