Ford expands cooperation with Baidu in China with new connectivity lab, digital and cloud services

Ford China and Baidu will work together to create new in-vehicle infotainment systems and digital services, a joint connectivity lab, and work on targeted digital marketing in China. The latest cooperation deal builds on the existing partnership between the two companies. In July last year, Ford joined Baidu's Apollo autonomous driving open platform as a founding member. In August, both invested in Velodyne, a maker of laser-based sensors for self-driving cars.
