Former Qualcomm CEO Jacobs joins Heal as chairman

Heal, an app-based service that lets customers book physician house calls, added two new important names to its board: former Qualcomm chairman and CEO Paul Jacobs as chairman and Florida Gov. Jeb Bush as BoD member. Jacobs is also CEO of mobile technology startup Xcom, which he launched in 2018, while Bush is also the chairman of Dock Square Capital. Jacobs is one of the company's investors. Launched in 2014, Heal so far raised more than USD 70 million. It operates in California, Atlanta and Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. area.
