Former Telecom Italia chief Rossi dies aged 86

Former Telecom Italia chief Guido Rossi has died aged 86. Rossi was a corporate lawyer who took over as chairman at the time of the incumbent operator's privatisation in 1996 and again between 2006 and 2007 following the Marco Tronchetti Provera era. He also presided Italian markets regulator Consob from between 1981 and 1982 and helped author the country's anti-trust and takeover laws.
