Forthnet confirms United Group's acquisition offer

Forthnet confirmed that its advisor Nomura International started exclusive negotiations with United Group on the latter's takeover proposal to its controlling shareholders, the banks NBG, Alpha, Piraeus and Attica Bank. The company said it is not aware of the content and the terms of the proposal, as the negotiation process lies within the discretion of the banks, without any involvement of Forthnet.
