Fortum gains licence for private mobile network at Loviisa power plant

Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom said it has granted a radio licence for a private network for Fortum's Loviisa Power Plant for the frequency band 2300-2320 MHz. Traficom said Fortum can use mobile communications technology in a way that is tailored to its needs, for greater data transfer capacity or new types of network application.
