Four in ten Dutch households use catch-up TV

Nearly four in ten Dutch households watch catch-up TV on the public and commercial broadcaster platforms, according to research by Multiscope. The public broadcaster's site NPO.nl (previously known as Uitzending Gemist) is the most popular (36%), followed by RTL XL (16%), SBS's Kijk.nl (5%) and NLziet (1%), according to the survey of around 6,500 consumers. Over half the catch-up TV users watch three hours per week over the platforms, while the other half use catch-up TV less than once a week.
