Fox offers to run Sky-branded news service for 10 years - report

21st Century Fox has doubled a commitment to continue funding Sky News from 5 to 10 years as it tries to secure clearance for its takeover of UK broadcaster Sky, reports The Guardian. The proposals come after the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said the bid raised media plurality concerns as it would give the Murdoch family too much control over UK news media.
