Foxconn aborts Indonesia plant build plan, targets Malaysia

Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has abandoned its plan to build a mobile phone factory in Indonesia. The decision is due to land acquisition hurdles. Foxconn is now considering building its plant in Malaysia, The Jakarta Post reports, citing Suryo Bambang Sulistyo, head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
