Foxconn invests in Cyanogen

Cyanogen announced a strategic investment from manufacturer Foxconn and closing of its series C round of funding. The company said the investment from Foxconn and others will help it advance commercial adoption of the Cyanogen open operating system for smartphones. To date, Cyanogen has raised a total USD 110 million in funding. It earlier announced USD 80 million in series C financing from investors including Qualcomm, Telefonica and Twitter.
