Foxconn to cut expenses by half next year - report

Foxconn Technology, a Taiwanese manufacturer and assembler of iPhones, told personnel it will be cutting expenses by almost half next year, Bloomberg reported, citing an internal document. The company wants to reduce expenses by about USD 2.9 billion, saying it will be facing a "very difficult and competitive year." Spending over the past 12 months amounted to around USD 6.7 billion.
