Wednesday 20 December 2017 | 08:50 CET | News
The authorities representing France, Italy, Monaco and the Vatican have signed a multilateral coordination agreement defining a new frequency plan for DTT services in the 470 - 694 MHz band, which enables European countries to free up 700 MHz spectrum for mobile broadband use. France, which has recently signed a similar agreement with the UK, aims to complete the national migration of DTT services by mid-2019, while in Italy the transition period will run between January 2020 and the end of June 2022.
