France takes Amazon to court for abuse of dominant position

Amazon faces legal action at the Paris commercial court and a fine of EUR 10 million after being accused of abusing its dominant position with e-commerce suppliers by the DGCCRF, the French Directorate for fair trading, consumer affairs and fraud control. The court case follows a two-year investigation by the DGCCRF into the contractual practices of the main e-commerce platforms operating in France.
