France Telecom could find ready buyers for Sonaecom stake

France Telecom would find it easy to sell its 20 percent stake in Portuguese operator Sonaecom if it decides to do so, Miguel Almeida, head of Sonaecom's telecoms division, said in an interview with Bloomberg. "I don't think there would be a lack of buyers," Almeida said. With shares at current levels, "Sonaecom is clearly undervalued", Almeida added. According to the Sonaecom executive, relations with France Telecom continue to be "excellent" and he has no knowledge of any preparations for such a sale.
