France Telecom chairman and CEO Didier Lombard met with French employment minister Xavier Darcos to discuss an action plan demonstrating the group's determination to ending a series of suicides and attempted suicides affecting its workforce. After the meeting, Lombard told journalists that he would "make every effort to ensure that a new social contract emerges following this period of negotiations and actions.
