Fraunhofer IIS develops IoT fieldbus

German research centre Fraunhofer IIS has deployed an IoT connected fieldbus with native IPv6 support. The IoT-bus facilitates continuous communication from sensor to cloud via TCP/IP, with standardised encryption methods in the internet protocol family TLD and DTLS. Its current data range is 1 Mbps and it has a range of 500 metres.
