Free Mobile to offer unlimited plans for under EUR 50 - CEO

Tuesday 5 April 2011 | 10:47 CET | News
French mobile licence operator Free Mobile will offer unlimited call, internet, messaging and streaming TV service for less than EUR 50 a month when it launches at the start of 2012, parent company CEO Xavier Niel announced during the 3 April Capital programme on TV channel M6. Niel said that mobile prices in France were the highest in the world, allowing operators to make over 30 percent profit margins. Bouygues Telecom's Neo 24/24 plan starts at EUR 89.90 a month, Orange France's Origami Jet at EUR 99 a month, and SFR's Illimythics Absolu at EUR 106.
