Freenet CFO eyes more acquisitions

German operator Freenet is interested in more acquisitions and sees opportunities in Switzerland, CFO Joachim Preisig said in an interview with Borsen-Zeitung. He estimated the company could spend around EUR 1 billion on acquisitions, but noted this is flexible given the low interest rates in the market. However, the company's cash could also go to a share buyback or special dividend if it does not find any suitable takeovers, he added.
