French broadcast authority approves JV between BFM TV and regional channel network Via – report

Altice France's subsidiary BFM TV and Via, a grouping of around 20 local TV channels, have been given the green light from broadcast regulator CSA for a 50:50 joint venture, according to information gathered by La Lettre De L'Expansion. The new JV entity, which will probably be called BFM-Via Regions, will enable the two partners to pull together resources to sell advertising space, share programmes, and develop common support functions.
