French broadcaster TF1 renews distribution deal with Free

Friday 18 June 2021 | 09:37 CET | News
Bouygues group subsidiary TF1 said that it has renewed its distribution agreement with Free, which was last negotiated in early 2018. Free's IPTV subscribers will continue to benefit from the broadcaster's five free-to-air channels and multi-screen on-demand offering (MyTF1 replay service and Tfou Max). Along with new features, the deal also includes an increased availability of programmes in 4K quality, such as TF1's current coverage of the UEFA Euro championship.
