
French constitutional authority rejects challenge to law on 1-hour takedown of online terrorist content

France's constitutional authority (Conseil Constitutionnel) has dismissed a challenge by around 60 members of parliaments against new legislation adopted in June requiring hosting providers to take down content inciting terrorism within one hour of notification.
