French govt's StopCovid tracing app goes live

The StopCovid contact-tracing app has become available on the Google PlayStore and Apple's App Store on 02 June as planned. The French government has met its targeted deployment date, announced in early May, although slightly later in the day than expected. The French press has already been able to test it in beta version. Among them, Le Figaro has published a preliminary review of the app, reassuring readers that it features an easy-to-find deactivation button.
