French independent alternative operators unite under AOTA

Over 20 French independent alternative operators are now part of AOTA (Association des Operateurs Telecoms Alternatifs), which has recently been created to make their voice heard on the regulatory front and defend common commercial interests. David Marciano, AOTA's president and vice-president of telecoms operator Adenis, told Next Inpact that the association will help its current 22 members to face the challenges shared by the fixed telecom industry, where incumbent Orange retains a powerful position.
