French mobile connections decrease during Q1 due to prepaid net loss

In mainland France, active postpaid SIMs increased by 269,000 since December (+252,000 in Q1 2019) to reach 66.98 million at end-March, or 90 percent of the overall postpaid/prepaid market (74.46 mln SIMs excluding M2M). When combined, MVNOs accounted for 89,000 net additions (+49,000 in Q1 2019), while the net growth across the four MNOs totalled 180,000 (+203,000 in Q1 2019).
