French MVNOs attack Free Mobile wholesale reference offer

French MVNO association Alternative Mobile has attacked Free Mobile's wholesale reference offer as being too expensive and called on regulator Arcep and the competition authority to force the new MNO to respect both the spirit and the letter of its licence commitments. Free's wholesale offer, which applies only to its own 3G base stations and not the roaming deal it has with Orange France, sets different prices for full MVNOs and standard MVNOs. In both cases, Free is selling minutes and SMS over its network at a higher price than its retail prices to its own end-users, writes Altenative
