French operator Ielo unveils EUR 160 mln investment plan with new shareholder DIF Capital

Wednesday 22 July 2020 | 11:28 CET | News
Infrastructure fund manager DIF Capital Partners has acquired a minority stake in the Ielo group, a French independent fibre operator formed by the merger of Ielo and Liazo in 2016. DIF and Ielo's founders plan to invest together EUR 90 million over the next two years in network expansion. Over five years, the investment will amount to nearly EUR 160 million, supporting Ielo's ambition to become the leading wholesale-only broadband operator in the country, and the third wholesale player behind Orange and SFR in the B2B fibre market.
