Fixed wireless operator Weaccess (formerly Infosat Telecom) is seeking authorisation from French regulator Arcep to use available frequencies in the 3.5 GHz band (3410 - 3460 MHz) to upgrade its fixed wireless network in the Seine Maritime department. The operator plans to bring fixed LTE connectivity to 113 municipalities, offering 30 Mbps broadband services for residential customers and dedicated business packages. Acquired in 2010, the network infrastructure currently makes use of about a hundred masts, said the company.
