French operators to test LTE, DTT interference in 800MHz

Orange France, SFR and Bouygues Telecom will run a field tests in Saint-Etienne in April to evaluate interference problems between LTE and DTT in the 800MHz band, AFP reports. The tests will be conducted under the aegis of national frequencies agency ANFR. The operators already found during smaller scale tests in Laval in 2011 that interference problems could be solved by placing filters between customers' TV antennas and TV sets.
