French PM requests proposals on co-ordinating Arcep, CSA

French prime-minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has asked the ministers of industry, culture and communication, and SMEs and the digital economy to propose how telecom regulator Arcep and broadcast authority CSA could work more closely together. According to a statement from his office, the convergence of infrastructure, services and content requires a reappraisal of the effectiveness of the regulatory system for electronic communications and audiovisual services. The ministers are due to inform the prime-minister of their conclusions and any legislative or regulatory changes they propose by the end
