Monday 15 June 2020 | 10:13 CET | News
Telecom authority Arcep has issued a request for comments from market players on the network sharing agreement unveiled by Digicel and Iliad's subsidiary Free Caraibe earlier this month. The two operators announced the creation of a joint venture called Madiacom, which will operate a shared radio access network (RAN) in the overseas territories of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Barthelemy, Saint-Martin and French Guiana. Under Arcep's powers, network sharing contracts are reviewed to ensure that their terms are compatible with regulatory policies.
