French regulator seeks views on use of 6 GHz band for Wi-Fi

France's telecom authority Arcep has published a draft decision for consultation on the use of 6 GHz spectrum (5,945 to 6,425 MHz) for Wi-Fi applications. The document adopts the provisions of the recent EU decision (2021/1067) opening up 500 MHz in the 6 GHz band for unlicensed use by Wi-Fi 6E devices across the European Union.
