French Senate urges govt to adopt legislation on digital sustainability

France's upper house of parliament has adopted a draft law designed to reduce the environmental footprint of the digital sector. Senators are now calling for the government and the lower house to seize the initiative and pass the legislation, highlighting that concrete actions is needed to reconcile environmental protection with the country's ongoing digital transition.
