French telecom operator revenues continue to grow in Q1

Revenue growth for French telecoms operators remained in positive territory for a second consecutive quarter in the three months to March, according to Arcep. Overall revenue growth was 0.3 percent year-on-year (+ 0.5% in Q4) when including various non-telecom revenues such as equipment sales, with growth improving to 0.7 percent excluding them. As in the previous quarter, mobile service revenues showed the best progression, growing by 3.0 percent year-on-year (+1.8% in Q4) to reach EUR 3.58 billion, while overall fixed revenues declined by 0.4 percent (-0.1% in Q4) to EUR 4.28 billion.
