FT to invest in Dailymotion, restart partner search - CEO

France Telecom-Orange plans to invest EUR 30 million to EUR 50 million in its video website Dailymotion before restarting its search for a partner to bring it more viewers, France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard said on RTL. First the operator will invest EUR 30, 40, 50 million" so that "Dailymotion does not widen its gap with competitors, notably YouTube", Reuters reports. The door is not completely closed with Yahoo and starting in the autumn, France Telecom will restart its search for partners in a serious way, he added.
