Fujitsu, Microsoft to lift manufacturing innovation with IoT

Monday 13 April 2015 | 09:19 CET | News
Fujitsu and Microsoft announced a new collaboration deal at the Hannover Messe event, saying they will together look to transform manufacturing processes through IoT innovation. The companies want a system that optimises processing by both machines and humans, so that managers, engineers and scientists can improve product quality, streamline systems and enhance functionality while reducing costs. The system will use Fujitsu devices powered by Windows 8.1 Pro, the Internet of Things (IoT) services of Fujitsu Cloud A5 and Microsoft Azure, and the Fujitsu IoT/M2M (machine-to-machine) platform.
